Project Overview

This project gave me the opportunity to apply the concepts of learning in organizations from my coursework to a real organization. I selected to work with my current employer, the Undergraduate Career Services Office at the Kelley School of Business. After meeting with a member of management, it was requested that I perform a needs analysis on the career coaching training program.

The purpose of this project was to assess the current training methods for on-boarding new career coaches and address concerns about the learning efficiency and effectiveness of that training. Additionally, the project aimed to identify methods for improving the knowledge transfer from experienced career coaches to trainees and promote a growth mindset during the training process.

I created a three-phase project methodology including: Project Development, Data Collection and Analysis, and Final Product (highlighted in the Project Samples section below). Upon completion of the data collection and analysis portion, I presented findings, received feedback from my client and then presented to the key stakeholders.
